If you ever wondered how Lean got noticed in North America, it's because of this video "The Origin of Quality: If Japan Can... Why Can't We?". After watching it a few times, I really enjoyed the interview with W. Edwards Deming
at the end. I love his quote "Work smarter, not harder". In my
opinion, the movie has more of an impact if you're an American as it
puts the focus on productivity levels in the States during the 80s.
Being a Canadian, I didn't felt concerned but enjoyed the parts about
Deming and its relationship with Japan (and Toyota).
